Brixham - Grey Phalarope in harbour at 14.00 but no sign late afternoon. 2 Little Gulls lingering in harbour.

Dawlish Warren - Female Surf Scoter still offshore with a drake Velvet Scoter, Great Northern Diver, Slavonian Grebe and 11 Little Gulls. Spoonbill roosted in Shutterton Creek at high tide.

Exeter - Red Kite drifted east over Polsloe Road at 14.05 (Thanks T. Smith).

Plymouth - Glaucous Gull on the Plym Estuary at Blackstone Meadows and 4 Little Gulls in Plymouth Sound. 2 Great Northern Divers and 4 Little Gulls off Cattewater.

Plymouth - Immature Iceland Gull south of A379 bridge at Cattewater at 15.00 then flew west.

Dawlish Warren - Iceland Gull flew south at 15.30. Female Surf Scoter still offshore at 14.53 with a drake Velvet Scoter, Great Northern Diver and 5 Slavonian Grebes. Spoonbill roosted at high tide (same as Exmouth bird). Dartford Warbler also present on site.

Broadsands - Black-throated Diver, Red-necked Grebe, 4 Eider and a Velvet Scoter offshore. 13 Cirl Buntings still coming to seed at back of second car park.

Goodrington - 6 Black-necked Grebes offshore.

Preston - 2 Black-throated Divers, Black-necked Grebe and a Slavonian Grebe offshore.

Powderham - 2 Cattle Egrets still in cattle field by circular house at 15.00. Black Brant off sea wall.

Ivybridge - Cattle Egret in horse fields at Lee Mill (present since 17th January).

Kingsbridge - 3 Cattle Egrets still south west of Kingsbridge at Collapit with 11 Little Egrets and a second winter Mediterranean Gull. 4 Cattle Egrets at Park Farm.

Broadsands - Red-necked Grebe still offshore at 12.30 with 2 Black-necked Grebes, Velvet Scoter, Black-throated Diver and 6 Great Northern Divers. 13 Cirl Buntings in the car park area. 

Exmouth - Spoonbill still off Mudbank along with a Greenshank. Black-throated Diver flew south west at 15.35. 2 Red-throated Divers and 4 Common Scoter also offshore. (Thank T. Smith)

Exmouth - Spoonbill off Mudbank Lane at high tide. 10 Goldeneye feeding on mussel beds at 15.00 (Thanks R. Ormerod)

Countess Wear - Female Scaup still on Exeter Canal and showing well.

Broadsands - Red-necked Grebe still offshore as well as the Velvet Scoter still, Black-throated Diver, 3 Great Northern Divers and 2 Black-necked Grebes. 8 Cirl Buntings in the car park.

Goodrington - 3 Black-necked Grebes offshore.

Preston - Red-necked Grebe offshore with 5 Black-necked Grebes.

Warleigh Point - 2 Spoonbills (both immatures) on Ernesettle Creek at 09.00 on rising tide before flying west.

Budleigh Salterton - Female Long-tailed Duck still off seafront. Whimbrel still on cricket pitch and a Water Pipit on the freshmarsh.

Seaton - Juvenile Iceland Gull on Axe Estuary at Coronation Corner mid morning before flying north.

Dawlish Warren - Adult female Surf Scoter still off seawall with a Velvet Scoter. Great Northern Diver also offshore, and a Red-necked Grebe in the estuary off Cockwood railway crossing.

Powderham - Cattle Egret still in sheep field by St. Clements Church at 12.38.

Kingsbridge - 2 Cattle Egrets south west of Kingsbridge at Collapit.

Dawlish Warren - Surf Scoter adult female still off beach huts near lifeguard station at 14.17 with a Velvet Scoter. Also Slavonian Grebe, 3 Great Northern Divers and 74 Red-throated Divers. Spoonbill roosted on railway saltmarsh.

Powderham - 2 Cattle Egrets still in sheep field by St. Clements church at 16.50.

Powderham - 2 Cattle Egrets still, as well as a Spoonbill. Spoonbill at Topsham (presumed same bird).

Roadford Reservoir - First winter Long-tailed Duck still in Southweek Inlet viewed from viaduct at 15.00.

Colyford Common - Spoonbill still opposite farm gate, 5 Water Pipits also present on site.

Beer - Surf Scoter first winter drake still off Seaton Hole at 12.40.

Sidmouth - 3 Purple Sandpipers near path to Jacob's Ladder.

Ide - Hawfinch still at 13.20. From A30 head into village then turn right at mini roundabout and after 3/4 mile view ash tree in hedge on right beyond end of houses. (Thanks T. Smith)

Kingsbride - 2 Cattle Egrets NW of Kingsbridge still just east of Churchstow at Palegate Cross in field by A379 turning.

Kingsbridge - 1+ Cattle Egret still SSW of Kingsbridge at Easton Farm.

West Charleton Marsh - 2 Cattle Egrets and a White-fronted Goose.

Thurlestone Bay - Black-throated Diver, Black Redstart and 2 Purple Sandpipers.

Exminster Marshes - Bittern

Powderham - 2 Cattle Egrets just west of Exe Estuary at Powderham from viewing platform behind swan's nest pub.

Dawlish Warren - Surf Scoter adult female still offshore. Also Red-necked Grebe, 2 Slavonian Grebes, 2 Pale-bellied Brent Geese and an Avocet.

Mudbank Lane - Spotted Redshank late afternoon.

Bolt Head - Firecrest near South Sands in garden by path at 16.15.

Slapton - Firecrest near quarry.

Seaton - Surf Scoter still off Beer beach. 2 Mediterranean Gulls on Axe Estuary.

Croyde Bay - Iceland Gull juvenile still in middle section at SS.433.394.

Dawlish Warren - Surf Scoter female still offshore with a Slavonian Grebe.

Budleigh Salterton - 3 Red-throated Diver off the seafront flew west at 13.30. 50 Common Scoter and female Eider also offshore. Chiffchaff by toilet block (Thanks T. Smith)

Croyde Bay - Iceland Gull juvenile still 14.00.

Westward Ho! - Great Northern Diver and second winter drake Eider offshore. Mediterranean Gull at 14.00.

Beer - Surf Scoter first/second winter drake still off beach.

Braunton - 2 Bewick's Swans still Braunton Marsh at 12.15pm. 

Fremington - Spotted Redshank and Greenshank in creek.

Brixham Breakwater - 5 Purple Sandpiper on seaward side of breakwater (Thanks R. Williams)

Broadsands - 27 Red-throated Diver, 24 Great Crested Grebe, 9 Eider, Velvet Scoter, 20 Common Scoter, 4 Brent Geese, 3 Red-breasted Merganser, 3 Teal and 7 Cirl Buntings (Thanks B. Bailey)

Preston - 4 Black-necked Grebes offshore. 2 Black-necked Grebes and 2 Wigeon off Goodrington (B. Bailey)

Avonwick - Ringtail Hen Harrier east of the Avonwick Bridge at 13.30 though distant (Thanks R. Belringer)

Kingsbridge - 3 Cattle Egrets still west of Kingsbridge Estuary in fields opposite Park Farm.

East Prawle - Ringtail Hen Harrier flew north late afternoon. Green Sandpiper at Moorwell Pond.

Slapton - Black-throated Diver, Great Northern Diver and 6 Red-throated Diver in Start Bay. 5 Ruddy Duck on lower ley. Firecrest on eastern side of bridge by ringing hut.

Ide - 2+ Hawfinches

Thurlestone Marsh - Black Redstart

Beesands - Red-crested Pochard x Tufted Duck hybrid still on ley with 3 Scaup. Slavonian Grebe offshore.

Seaton - Surf Scoter first winter drake off Beer in afternoon. Black Redstart still on beach.

Roadford Reservoir - Long-tailed Duck first winter in cutoff at Nature Reserve end.

Isley Marsh - 6 Spoonbills still at 11.15.

Croyde Bay - Juvenile Iceland Gull still showing well on beach near stream at 11.30. 8 Common Scoter off Downe End Point.

Exminster Mashes - Cattle Egret flew along river Exe towards Turf, and still present at 12.30pm by main lagoon.

Kingsbridge - 4 Cattle Egrets south of Kingsbridge between Collapit Bridge and water treatment works entrance in kale field on right at 16.00.

Bowling Green Marsh - Siberian Chiffchaff in hedge along Bowling Green Lane near hide with 3 Chiffchaffs at 09.50.

Exmouth - Red-necked Grebe still off Shelly Beach mid-morning. Black Redstart on seafront at Morton Crescent. Spotted Redshank at Mudbank Lane (Thanks T. Smith)

Dawlish Warren - Surf Scoter female still. Drake Surf Scoter briefly mid-afternoon before flying off. Red-necked Grebe, Slavonian Grebe and 2 Red-throated Divers also offshore.

Broadsands - Red-throated Diver, Red-breasted Merganser and 15 Common Scoter offshore at 09.30.

Kingsbridge Estuary - 2 Pale-bellied Brent Geese with 44 Dark-bellied Brents.

New Bridge - Whooper Swan south of Bishops Tawton at New Bridge in field by railway at 1.30pm.

Baggy Point - Black Redstart still on cliffs at Pencil Rock SS.431.398 . 2 Dartford Warblers on Middleborough Hill, just past gate after car park.

Halberton - Mandarin drake still on Grand Western Canal at SS.997.125.

Kingsbridge - Yellow-browed Warbler in private garden.

Dawlish Warren - Female Surf Scoter still offshore with 2 Red-throated Divers at 10.00.

Sidmouth - 8 Purple Sandpiper on Chit Rocks at 15.45.
